The Protech High Performance Dryers are designed for speed drying of food, agricultural, herbal or soil samples.
Features
The Dryers are constructed of powder coated mild steel, finished throughout in acrylic stove enamel paint. Two models are available to suit your choice. The Model FD-380 is a bench-top model. The Model FD-825 is floor standing and mounted on castor wheels for easy transportation. For both models, the shelves are removable and can be fully adjusted for heights at one inch gaps. The heating elements are built in the top cabinet (for Model FD-380) or side cabinet (for Model FD-825) to avoid any possible damage by water dripping from samples. Drying is aided by a heavy duty hot air fan. Drying temperature is set by digital thermometer. Guided air-flow ensures a complete circulation of hot air in drying chamber. An independent built-in safety thermostat takes over control of Dryer if the control thermostat fails. This prevents destruction of samples.
The glass doors are filled with full length magnetic gaskets or spring loaded catches to ensure that the doors are tightly secured. Two sliding mild steel shutters are provided at the top for air ventilation or moisture escape during initial phase of drying. A six-hour timer is provided as standard. The dryer is supplied with 2 or 4 stainless steel shelves (depending on the model) and a two-meter power cable with grounded plug.
